Gay pride groups appear at U.S. military academies
In December, a group of students at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut, formed a group called the Spectrum Diversity Council, to serve as a gay-straight alliance on campus.
The night before “don’t ask, don’t tell” ended, cadets at Norwich University, the nation’s oldest private military academy, held the first meeting of the school’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning and Allies Club.
These clubs are school-sanctioned, and their numbers are growing, according to cadets and school officials.

Wynn, an 18-year-old Richmond woman, said that her best friend took nude photos from her computer while they were hanging out and posted them on the website. She said that he claimed that she “friend zoned” him for long enough, meaning that she had not answered his advances to enter a relationship, so he turned to the website for revenge.
Within the first day of being featured on “Is Anyone Up,” Wynn said she received 93 friend requests on Facebook. By the second week she said that she had 173 friend requests from men who saw her on the website. Even after denying these requests, Wynn still regularly receives messages because of the website posting.

» I still don’t understand why in revenge porn issues, victims are blamed instead of perpetrators. Because, a lot of times people send these pictures to trusted individuals or their romantic partners when asked for it, and it’s these trusted individuals/romantic partners that go on to break that trust and ruin peoples’ lives. The problem isn’t people sexting, the problem is people being immature and cruel enough to break someones’ trust and hurt them emotionally, mentally and sometimes even physically (like the girl who committed suicide because she was bullied for sexting). People should not be blamed because someone they trusted turned out to be a major Douchebag.
I really can’t imagine why she wouldn’t want to date him. He seriously seems like such a NICE GUY.
